For those of you who haven’t seen it, click the photo above to watch Jon Stewart’s interview with Chris Wallace on ‘Fox News Sunday.’
It was a fairly intense interview, but what caught our attention here at VocabSushi was the re-iteration of Stewart’s description of Fox News as:

“A biased organization, relentlessly promoting an ideological agenda under the rubric of being a news organization.”

Chris Wallace criticized Stewart for misusing the word ‘rubric.’ Rubric can mean many things, from an authoritative rule to a category. We will leave the decision up to you. Did Stewart misuse the word in this description?
