Well apparently some people have, and they went so far as to develop a language analysis tool to study Twitter’s most popular tweeters.
Bad news is that as far as soccer players go, Manchester United player RIO Ferdinand comes in dead last.
The tool describes 88% of his words to be “basic” and 11% as “intermediate”.
Does this say something about the education levels of professional athletes? Or about the implications of Twitter for that matter?
