A sneak peak at the upcoming VocabSushi iphone app

Literally the day we launched over a year and half ago we’ve been asked “do you have an iPhone app?” We wanted to do the app right, and make sure it offered a lot of the awesome stuff you’d expect from VocabSushi. So we took our time, and we thought real hard about it.
What we came up with is a lot better than just “the VocabSushi website but in an app.” It’s a totally new product and approach to learning vocab.
It starts with the classic novels you’ve been assigned to read, you’ve already read, or you’ve heard about, like Pride and Prejudice, Frankenstein and Sherlock Holmes.
From there you can dive into a book and see what vocab words are in each chapter. Then you can learn those words through bitesize examples: sentences taken directly from the book. Finally, you can quiz yourself with sentence completion questions.
Everything revolves around your library of books and the vocabulary and sentences from whatever book you select to work with.
Check out this sneak preview of the app in action. Tell your friends and start thinking about which books you’ll want to check out - there will be more than 200 to choose from when the app launches!
