Problems logging in or using VocabSushi?

Occasionally we get reports that VocabSushi isn’t working correctly.  Sometimes these are due to glitches or bugs that we work round the clock to fix.  But a lot of the time these errors can be fixed by simply “rebooting” your browser or just using a newer browser.

1) Clear your cacheNo, not cash!  Your cache is a record of your browsing history - all those other sites you visit put stuff into your computer’s memory.  Don’t worry, this is how the internet works.  But sometimes those things can mess with VocabSushi.  So go here and see how to clear your cache for any browser.

2) Press CTRL-F5. This is like refresh, but it clears the cache of the website you are currently viewing.  We call it a “hard refresh” for that reason.

3) Get Firefox or Safari.  While we do support Internet Explorer, we don’t really recommend it and if it’s an older version (such as IE6) we don’t even test on it.  We highly recommend getting one of these free browsers to use for VocabSushi.

4) Report it to us.  If all else fails, don’t hesitate to contact us and send in a detailed explanation of the problem.  What happened before you encountered it is usually more important the problem itself since we need to be able to recreate it in order to squash the bug.
